What time is worship? We  have live and livestreamed worship every Sunday at 10 am. in the Sanctuary. Masks are  required during singing but optional (though strongly encouraged) at all other times, effective August 8, 2021.   The Zoom link for livestreaming is on the home page.

How long is the worship service? Worship lasts approximately 45 minutes. Lots of people that come to our worship service like to stay after for a bit and visit with old and new friends over a cup of coffee or tea in the fellowship hall. Fellowship time is after live worship.  See the home page for details.

Do you have support for those with disabilities? Yes, we have hearing enhancement headsets; large print bulletins, hymnals and Bibles; elevator; worship center is at street level; footrests; and braille bulletins are available if ordered by Thursday before worship.

Is there Sunday School? Yes, adult class (for teens and adults) starts at 8:45 a.m. in the east wing all year. There are children's classes in the lower level of the south wing at 10:00 a.m. for ages birth through age 12, Sept. through May.  A children's summer program is available June through August. Youth activities are available for ages 13 and up.

Is there childcare? A nursery is available during worship for babies and toddlers. Check with an usher to get directions to the nursery.

What should I wear? At CUMC  you will see a mix of styles. Some wear their "Sunday best" and others are more casual in slacks or jeans. We want you to be comfortable as we worship God together. For Zoom worship, you will not be seen, so whatever you prefer.

Where do I park? There is plenty of parking in each of the lots located on the east and west side of the church. We also have a bike rack for the cyclists in our community. Others choose to walk as we are conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood.

Do I have to be a Methodist to attend? Not at all. Many in our congregation come from different backgrounds.

What is a typical service like? We worship in a traditional style with music, prayers, scripture, and preaching. We sing old and new hymns and have classical organ music. We also have an adult choir as well as a handbell choir. Worship is just the beginning of the CUMC worship experience. It equips us for mission and service in our community, our region, and our world.

Can a visitor take communion? Our communion table is open to everyone who believes in the love of Christ to change our lives. If attending livestreamed services, please feel free to have ready your own juice and bread.

Am I expected to give when the offering plate is passed? As a visitor, you are not expected or obligated to give an offering unless you feel led to do so.  Donations made be given here or by mailing a check or put in the plate after the 10 a.m. worship service.
